Replacement Window Reviews: Jeld-Wen
Jeld-Wen is one of the largest window manufacturers in the U.S. They're primarily a new-construction company, selling hundreds and thousands of windows at a time. They offer aluminum, wood, and vinyl options. Because they are mainly a new-construction company, they don't have the best reputation for remodeling projects. If you order 15-20 windows, and something goes wrong, it can be tough to have their customer service resolve the issue. Since you're not ordering hundreds or thousands at a time, you're a very small customer to them.
Replacement Window Reviews: Sierra Pacific Windows
Sierra Pacific is a family-owned and operated window and door company in Red Bluff, California. They are mainly known for their wood clad windows and doors and also offer vinyl and aluminum clad products. Sierra Pacific is mostly known for its distribution in the Northwest and now sells throughout the United States through local dealers and reps. While their wood-clad windows are of good quality, they're too new to the vinyl window market to make a solid judgment about these windows.
Replacement Window Reviews: Simonton Windows
Simonton windows are known for providing windows of decent quality that are nationally distributed, with a reasonable warranty. The company was founded over 70 years ago and focuses on vinyl for most of its window products. While they don't rank as the top tier vinyl window, there are reliable products easily accessible through Home Depot, building product distributors, and independent contractors. When it comes to their reviews, they have 2.5 stars on Yelp with 24 reviews.
Replacement Window Reviews: Pella Windows
Pella is one of the most well-known window manufacturers out there with over 90 years of experience but comes with mixed reviews. They sell both cheap and nice windows, so you get a mix of people who either hate them or love them, depending on which window they bought. They produce vinyl, wood, and fiberglass options. On Yelp, they currently have 3-stars and 31 reviews, and many of their problems seem to come from installation companies and their customer service.
Replacement Window Reviews: Renewal by Andersen Windows
Renewal by Anderson is a subsidiary of Anderson Corporation, a company that manufactures windows and doors. They first opened in 1995 in Minnesota and currently have hundreds of locations across the U.S. Their windows are made of Fibrex® composite materials and may come with a hefty price tag. When it comes to their online reviews, they have a 4-star rating with 61 reviews. The following is a quote from one of their customers
